| Although those on each of the lower levels tend to oppose the higher levels in their zeal for believing their particular level as the one and only truth, the fourth and highest level is opposed to none, and instead, supports and uses them all.
THE FIRST LEVEL, the temporal law of good and evil, is to grow in the use of knowledge of "what ought to be" and try to achieve it by dedicated self improvement. It is to do good works by God's law, using will power to achieve one's ideals.
THE SECOND LEVEL,, the spiritual law of good and evil, is to gain knowledge of "what ought to be" by spiritual empowerment. It is to do good works by God's grace, using access to the miraculous blessings of the Spirit in order to achieve one's ideals.
THE THIRD LEVEL, the chastening, enables one to see the illusions of those limited conclusions about "what ought to be," thus beginning to flow more harmoniously and joyously with life. It is going from disintegration to more integration with life, going from separateness toward greater union and harmony with what is.
THE FOURTH LEVEL, is awakening to agape-love, the pure love of Christ, that unites everything in creation.
